Summary

  1. 1. Three Macacus rhesus monkeys inoculated with Donovan organisms from a case of granuloma inguinale showed evidence of an abortive infection with this pathogenic agent.
  2. 2. A biological method is thus afforded for testing any microorganism which might be cultivated from these lesions and suspected of being the etiological agent.
