Summary

The 2-, 2.5-, 3-, 3.5-, and 4-day-old pre-erythrocytic forms of Laverania falcipara are described from the liver of the chimpanzee. These ranged with age from 4 µ to 24 µ in diameter, and from 2 to 250 in number of nuclei. All lay in parenchyma cells of the liver.
